Thought I posted in here already... but can't see it - probably started talking about music and Statto had to delete it
... anyway Very into football ! Both playing and watching it. Took a while to get sorted on a team since moving to Montreal, but now I'm signed up for 3 ! I appreciate playing even more after been out for so long with 2 cruciate ligament tears (left & right knee). Film of all kinds. From social commentary style stuff to comedy and everything in between. Art and art exhibitions / shows, depending on how much bullshit is involved Working out what the hell to do in the future... I'll always be doing something in music (I think!) but I need to find something interesting to work in to earn some money too. Currently thinking about getting into some kind of web-related site design / programming, but have to see if I'll like it enough. Language / culture stuff - I like to see how people live in different parts of the world - Montreal is interesting from that point of view, so many different cultures here, you get to experience a little bit of everything.
in general, if you define yourself by being interested in football then you're probably an empty hollow shell of a human being

Hey there everyone
Basically at the moment I'm - playing the drums more often - searching for old and new music on spotify - spending more time with my children - looking forward to holidays (although still too far away) - enjoying early summer Statto just reminded me on Facebook, that I've not been too often on here lately, which is true. Last time I checked most posts were commercials but I think another thing I try to do is "spend less time in front of a computer"... so it might just be that. Anyway, guess I should check in more regularily here instead of reading crap on Facebook cycom Wrote:Hey there everyone
gonna uplaod some illustrations......

What else have you got? Statto Wrote:Code Wrote:Working out what the hell to do in the future... Yes, it's a tricky one this, what to do in the future.... I went to Asia again recently and am toying with the idea of perhaps moving to Bangkok for a while. It feels recently like i've just reached a turning point and that somewhere other than London would do me some good. What i'd actually do there I don't know, though it would probably be computer or teaching related. I do worry a bit that i'm a *lazy* person, someone who procrastinates and dithers a lot, though having said that, what I am interested in and what I do manage in my spare time amounts to quite a lot these days. Small things in life make me happy, I can no longer be arsed with hangovers and worrying about triviality, it all seems a bit pointless, you know? What to do indeed Sir Loris of Crowthorne Wrote:I can no longer be arsed with hangovers and worrying about triviality, it all seems a bit pointless, you know? Hangovers, no indeed. I don't even like to drink much any more because it leaves me feeling so washed out the next day I can't do anything. What do you mean by "triviality" though? Statto Wrote:What do you mean by "triviality" though? In a personal sense I mean worrying about what you have no control over. I spent years feeling anxious and worrying about things, everything in fact, that's all I did, worry! And most of it was trivial. Nobody I loved was dying or in hospital, I wasn't about to lose my job, I still had a roof over my head and money coming in, it was all fine Sir Loris of Crowthorne Wrote:I can no longer be arsed with hangovers Im in the same mode right now. Im so sick of the whole cycle of drinking and hangovers, and to a larger extent detox and retox Thinking about permanently giving up the drink...
so how's that going then?
Almost forgot I posted that , musta washed that brain cell away with a pint of newkie brown.
At the moment, though, Im giving up my late night drinking as it totally knackers me in the morning which compounds my lack of rem sleep. I think I was putting the cart before the horse, drinking to try and make myself sleep . . . which doesnt work! It just makes it worse. Searching for deep sleep remedies. Trying diet, exercise (which I normally do), reading at night, more music, aromatherapy, etc . . . actually, I kinda like diagnosing and figuring things out like this it really puts you in touch with life . . . I just wish sometimes that I could be one of those people who dont give a rats about life and seem to have fun at every turn . . . oh well, the curse of my consciousness. Paradigm X Wrote:Recently i have been mostly; Yup, this is still my life. More (electronic) DIY, less music than ever before... although do do some live techno jams with a mate. ...
Hmm.. things Im interested in;
Tarot, I am getting certified this year as a reader by the american association of tarot readers.. Kinda silly but my neighbor wants to certify me for some reason since I have been working with her. Health stuff like diet, herbs, supplements, flower remedies and cell therapy. Becoming extremely knowledgeable in this and constantly learning by default, not sure it interests me as much as Im totally immerserd in it, wouldnt say I have a passion for it like music. I do have a passion of being able to help others though with what I have learned. Qi gong, I have been slacking lately with this but as soon as possible I want to start classes for it full on. Doing a lot of meditations and using creative visualization daily. Europe in general lol. I watch bbc tv all the time now even the shows that are cheesy as I take any advantage I get to see different parts of it, mainly England though. Been getting back into taking pictures, mainly doing stuff with my iphone when I get inspired as I dont carry my nice camera with me at all times. I got a whole series of shots on the subway the other day of people and it totally worked as they didnt know I was taking their pic. People watching, I do a lot of that, feel some what disconnected from the world so I just play the observer, people fascinate me really ( and disgust me sometimes) .
I used to have Tarot cards. Wonder what happened to them.
