Arrived this week:
Ben Frost - Theory of Machines LP Death Ambient - Drunken Forest CD Mimir - s/t (1st) CD Grouper - Tried 7" Grouper - Wide CD Harmonia - Live 1974 CD V.A. - An Anthology of Noise & Electronic Music Vol. 5 Yellow Swans - At All Ends CD Hilde Sofie Tafjord - Kama CD Shit & Shine - Cherry 2xLP
Theory of Machines is fantastic.
Grouper did a thing with Xiu Xiu that I picked up recently, that is really good. Nothing at all like Xiu Xiu's stuff, so I'm guessing it's more like Grouper. The Quaristice LP arrived this morning. Woo hoo. Big highlight purchase though: Bruno Pronsato - Why Can't We Be Like Us? Fan-bloody-tastic album. Techno with a much wider sense of dynamics than most club stuff. A real live feel to it, but not in the sense of dance music done live. Everything just feels like it fits together, and sounds really vibrant Blunt Wrote:The Quaristice LP arrived this morning. Woo hoo. Must remember to get this. Soooo much stuff on my wantlist right now though. Blunt Wrote:Grouper did a thing with Xiu Xiu that I picked up recently, that is really good. But yes, great music, I'm very much in love with her at the moment. littleNemo Wrote:V.A. - An Anthology of Noise & Electronic Music Vol. 5 I have those ones Statto Wrote:littleNemo Wrote:V.A. - An Anthology of Noise & Electronic Music Vol. 5 impeccable taste, as always
